The Milwaukee 3107-6 1/2" D-Handle Right Angle Drill Kit is a heavy-duty corded right-angle drill designed for high-torque drilling in tight spaces like studs, joists, and framing cavities. This is a legacy-style professional tool built for demanding drilling applications where cordless tools may not provide enough sustained power.

Powered by a 7-amp motor, the drill delivers strong low-speed torque and is paired with a mechanical gear system that provides two operating speed ranges (approx. 0–335 RPM and 0–750 RPM) depending on configuration. This makes it suitable for large-diameter boring, especially with self-feed bits and hole saws used in framing, plumbing, and electrical work.

A defining feature of the 3107-6 is its D-handle and right-angle gear head design, which allows users to drill in confined or obstructed areas where a standard drill cannot fit. Both the head and handle can swivel, giving improved positioning and control when working between studs or inside framed structures.

The tool uses a keyed 1/2" chuck, providing strong bit retention for aggressive drilling applications. Its helical-cut, heat-treated gears are designed for durability and smooth torque transfer under load, especially when drilling large holes in wood or light metal.

This model is widely known for its raw drilling power, but also for being physically demanding to use during extended operation due to its torque reaction—making it best suited for short, heavy-duty drilling tasks rather than precision work.

Note: The 3107-6 is a discontinued legacy model, replaced in many applications by newer Milwaukee M18 FUEL™ Hole Hawg and Super Hawg cordless systems.
