he Milwaukee 2967-22 M18 FUEL™ 1/2" High Torque Impact Wrench Kit w/ Friction Ring is the complete, ready-to-work version of Milwaukee’s flagship 1/2" high-torque impact system. It is designed for professionals who need maximum fastening and breakaway power in a compact cordless package, along with batteries and charging equipment included.

Powered by a POWERSTATE™ brushless motor, this tool delivers up to 1,200 ft-lbs of fastening torque and 1,600 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque when paired with high-output M18 batteries, making it capable of removing extremely tight or rusted fasteners, including lug nuts, suspension hardware, and heavy structural bolts.

Despite its extreme power, the tool maintains a relatively compact profile at about 7.6 inches in length, allowing better access in tight wheel wells, engine bays, and confined mechanical spaces compared to older-generation high-torque impacts.

The 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL system allows users to fine-tune output for different tasks, including:

• High-torque breakaway mode
• Bolt removal mode (reduces RPM after breakaway for better control)
• Auto shut-off mode (prevents over-tightening on reassembly)

The 1/2" friction ring (hog ring) anvil enables fast socket changes while maintaining secure retention under high vibration and torque loads. Tri-LED lighting improves visibility around the fastener area in low-light conditions.
