Product Description
The Milwaukee 49-16-2608 ProPEX® Expansion Head is an accessory designed for Milwaukee M18™ and M12™ ProPEX expansion tools. It is used to expand 1-inch PEX-a tubing so that ProPEX fittings can be inserted, creating a secure and reliable plumbing connection.
The expansion head attaches directly to compatible Milwaukee expansion tools and features an auto-rotating interface. During operation, the head rotates automatically between expansions, ensuring even expansion around the pipe and improving connection consistency.
This accessory is commonly used with Uponor/Wirsbo ProPEX systems, which rely on the natural shrink properties of PEX-a tubing to tighten around the fitting after expansion. The result is a strong, leak-free connection without clamps or crimp rings.
