ProPEX® Expansion Head

Product Description

The Milwaukee 49-16-2403 ProPEX® Expansion Head is an accessory designed for Milwaukee ProPEX expansion tools, including compatible M12™ and M18™ expansion tools. It is used to expand 3/8″ PEX-a tubing so a ProPEX fitting can be inserted to create a secure plumbing connection.

The expansion head attaches directly to the expander tool and features an auto-rotating interface. During operation, the head automatically rotates between expansions, ensuring even pipe expansion and consistent connections.

This tool is typically used with Uponor/Wirsbo ProPEX systems, where PEX-a tubing expands and then naturally shrinks back around the fitting, forming a strong, leak-free seal without clamps, crimp rings, or soldering.
