The Milwaukee 2990-20 M18 FUEL™ 14" Abrasive Chop Saw is a professional cordless metal-cutting solution designed to replace traditional corded chop saws on the jobsite. Built on the M18 FUEL platform, it delivers corded 15-amp equivalent performance in a fully portable design, making it ideal for fabrication, steel installation, and construction metalwork where mobility matters.
Powered by a POWERSTATE™ brushless motor, this saw runs at approximately 4,000 RPM, providing consistent cutting speed through steel studs, pipe, conduit, angle iron, and other structural metals. It is engineered to maintain performance under load while reducing the need for extension cords or generators.
REDLINK PLUS™ intelligence continuously monitors tool and battery performance to protect against overload, overheating, and over-discharge, ensuring reliable operation during heavy cutting applications. When paired with a HIGH OUTPUT™ M18 battery, it can deliver up to ~200 cuts per charge in 20-gauge steel stud, depending on material and conditions.
