The SDS Plus 1/2" x 1-11/16" Stop Bit is a specialized masonry drill bit designed for accurate depth-controlled drilling when installing drop-in anchors in concrete and other masonry materials.

Unlike standard SDS bits, this stop bit features a built-in stopping shoulder (collar) that physically limits drilling depth. Once the collar contacts the concrete surface, the correct hole depth has been reached—ensuring consistent, repeatable results without measuring or marking tape on the bit.

It is built with a carbide-tipped cutting head for durability in hard aggregate, while the flute design efficiently removes dust and debris to maintain drilling speed and reduce binding. A centering tip helps reduce walking and improves accuracy when starting holes.

The 1/2-inch diameter is commonly used for drop-in anchor installations, and the 1-11/16-inch usable drilling depth is specifically engineered to match standard anchor depth requirements.
