IPS FP Ball Valve – Product Description

An IPS FP Ball Valve is a durable shut-off valve designed to control the flow of water, gas, or other compatible fluids in piping systems. The valve features IPS (Iron Pipe Size) threaded connections, allowing it to be easily installed on standard threaded pipe using female pipe threads (FPT). The FP (Full Port) design means the internal bore of the valve is the same size as the pipe, providing maximum flow capacity with minimal pressure loss.

Typically manufactured from forged brass, IPS full-port ball valves include a chrome-plated brass ball, PTFE seats, and a steel lever handle for smooth quarter-turn operation. Turning the handle 90 degrees quickly opens or closes the valve, providing reliable shut-off performance in plumbing and mechanical systems.

These valves are widely used in residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing applications, including domestic water supply lines, heating systems, compressed air systems, and general fluid control.
