Product Description
The Milwaukee 49-08-2400 ProPEX® Expander Cone Grease is a maintenance lubricant designed for Milwaukee ProPEX expansion tools used in PEX plumbing systems. It is applied to the expander cone inside the tool to reduce friction between the tool and the ProPEX expansion heads.
Frequent use of PEX expansion tools generates heat and friction at the cone and head interface. This grease lubricates that area, allowing the expansion head to operate smoothly and preventing premature wear or failure of the cone mechanism. Regular lubrication helps extend the life of both the expansion tool and the expansion heads.
This grease is commonly used with Milwaukee M12™ and M18™ ProPEX expansion tools, which are designed to expand PEX-a tubing for Uponor/Wirsbo ProPEX fittings.
