SDS+ Core 1-9/16"X2"

The Milwaukee SDS-PLUS Core Bit 1-9/16" x 2" is a masonry core drilling accessory designed for SDS-Plus rotary hammers, used to create large-diameter, shallow-depth holes in brick, block, and concrete.

What it is

This is not a standard twist bit—it is a core-style cutter, meaning it:

• Cuts a circular ring of material
• Leaves a solid core plug in the center
• Is designed for fast large-hole creation (up to 2" depth)

• Asymmetrical carbide teeth → faster cutting and better material break-up
• Centering pilot capability → helps start holes accurately
• Spiral core body → improves dust removal and reduces friction
• Two-piece system compatibility → works with adapters and centering bits

• Cutting depth: 2" maximum per pass
• System: SDS-Plus rotary hammer only

Important limitation

• This is a shallow coring system (not deep drilling)
• For deeper holes, you must:
  • Remove the core plug
  • Re-engage the cut
  • Or switch to SDS Max / diamond coring systems
