The patent-pending design reduces the need for predrilling, feeding the saw into the material without slamming. The bit starts drilling on contact with a precise PILOT POINT tip and is compatible with both quick change and traditional non-quick change arbors vs previous generation LENOX Pilot Drill drilling low carbon steel.
