670P is a solvent primer for priming PVC and CPVC plastic pipe and fittings. Tests have shown that greater long-term joint strength is obtained with the use of a primer. Primer cleans, softens and dissolves the surface of the pipe and fitting, thus providing better bonding surfaces for the solvent cement when it is applied. 670P meets 'Low-VOC' requirements, as outlined by SCAQMD 1168/316A.
