AD-240 = Steamist Automatic Drain Valve (240V steam generator auto drain system)

It is the motorized drain valve component of a steam shower system, used with Steamist generators like:

• TSG-7
• TSG-10
• TSG-12
• TSG-15
• SMP series generators

⚙️ What it does

The AD-240 is a normally-closed electric drain valve that:

• Automatically opens after the steam cycle ends
• Drains hot water from the generator tank
• Flushes sediment and minerals
• Helps prevent scale buildup and extends generator life

It typically:

• Stays closed during operation
• Opens after cooldown (~20–30 minutes or more depending on system logic)
• Flushes for a short timed cycle, then closes again
