The AprilAire 400 Whole-House, Large Bypass Evaporative Humidifier is designed to deliver optimal humidity control for homes up to 5,000 square feet. With the ability to provide 17 gallons of humidification per day, this unit ensures rapid and balanced humidity, crucial for reducing respiratory infections, allergies, and asthma symptoms by minimizing bacteria, viruses, fungi, and dust mites throughout the entire home. This unit is uniquely designed to evaporate 100% of the water going into the humidifier. It incorporates a special two-stage float system to maintain the optimal amount of water and protect against overflow. Water is absorbed by the HVAC system's warm air, evaporating it and dispersing it throughout the home before more water is added. The unit is easily maintained with a semi-annual change of the AprilAire 45 Water Panel. The humidifier includes an automatic control which is duct compatible and adjusts for both outdoor temperature and relative humidity. The reversible design allows the unit to be easily adjusted whether the return is on the left or the right. Designed and assembled in the USA utilizing US and global components and backed by a 5-year warranty, the AprilAire 400 provides reliable, high-quality humidification, complete with all necessary components for easy setup.
