PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The AprilAire 80 Steam Canister is a key element of the steam humidifier, responsible for generating the steam that the humidifier distributes throughout the home. Current runs between two electrodes within the canister, heating the water to a boil and creating steam that is distributed to the home. The canister and O-ring must be replaced annually to optimize the performance of the humidifier and prevent buildup. Inspect electrode wires every year and replace every three years, or sooner if they become loose or damaged. Included with the canister is the O-ring to provide a tight seal.
