The ARL-FBS415 is a steel octagonal fan and fixture mounting box designed for securely mounting ceiling fans or light fixtures directly to a joist.

Product Description

This is a heavy-duty 4" octagon ceiling box made by Arlington for new-work ceiling installations. It mounts under a ceiling joist and is rated to support both ceiling fans and heavy light fixtures.

Unlike a standard light-duty ceiling box, the FBS415 is reinforced for fan support and includes mounting hardware for direct joist attachment. It is commonly used when installing ceiling fans in new construction or remodels where joist access is available.
