4-11/16 in square 1-gang 1/2 in raised Device Ring are used to mount switches or receptacles on junction boxes that are 1/2 in D on a finished-wall surface. The tapped 6-32 device mounting tabs accept switches devices and receptacles. The angled slots on the covers compensate for up to 12 deg of box misalignment on upright framing members.
