• JB heat pump manifold has two 3-1/8 in glow-in-the-dark class one 1 percent accuracy gauges designed with 800 psi to handle the heat pump pressures
• Significant temperature glide on R-407C, the pressure/temperature scale is based on saturated vapor (dew point DP)
• For temperatures above 50 deg, the scale is based on saturated liquid (bubble point BP), use the DP for superheat calculations and the BP for subcooling calculations
• Replaceable intake/hose and holder fittings
• Replacement gauge M2-808

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Heat pumps use the same refrigeration cycle for heating and cooling. A heat pump can change which coil is the condenser and which is the evaporator by way of a reversing valve. Using a traditional manifold to service a heat pump is not advisable as the los side of the gauge will be damaged when the system goes into heating mode. Therefore, both gauges of the manifold must be designed to handle the high pressures of the heating mode.
