The 5832 Water Solenoid Valve fits AprilAire 700 Series Whole-House Humidifiers (manufactured after June, 2019). It opens and closes based on electrical current to provide water to the humidifier feed tube. This valve does not have yellow wires. It is a 24 Volt AC valve and ships with a brass strainer to protect the inlet opening of the valve from debris (use standard 4004 In-line Strainer if replacement is needed).
