Testing is the first step in ensuring that their home is safe from radon exposure, enabling them to take appropriate action if elevated levels are detected. Using the instructions provided, it takes a few minutes to set up the test. The test should be exposed for a minimum of 3 days or maximum of 7 days. After testing is complete, fill out the required information and send in the test as soon as possible to be analyzed by an NRPP certified lab. All necessary fees for lab analysis, processing, and postage are included in the kit. Once the lab receives the test sample, you and/or the homeowner can expect to receive the results via email within 24 hours.
