Sioux Chief SmartSpout™ 972-32 Tub Spout, Copper, Polished Chrome, Import

Sioux Chief 972-3RA repair adapter extension shall be used when necessary in tub spout replacement or repair work. Repair adapter extension shall be preformed, one piece, Type M, 1/2" CTS hard copper which conforms to ASTM B 88-93. Repair Adapter Extension shall have one 1/2" male sweat connection end and one reduced male end. Repair Adapter Extension is designed to be used with Sioux Chief SmartSpout™ tub spout product line to extend length of 1/2" CTS copper stub out on repair projects when copper penetrating through wall is less than 2 " long. Copper Extension shall be soldered. When soldering cannot be done, copper extension shall be connected to CTS in wall using specially formulated copper to-copper 2-step epoxy (not included but can be purchased separately). Epoxy substitutes will void warranty.
